Chippenham is a medium-sized town where traffic generally flows well. Most noteworthy is that the town centre itself is restricted to traffic outside of rush-hour times, but the A420 runs just to the west of the town and you can turn off towards the town centre and park. Also, the A420 connects to the A350, which joins the M4. Chippenham has several public car parks, such as the Wood Lane pay and display car park, and Station Car Park, right by Enterprise. You can also park on some streets for up to an hour for free.
